Paw Street is a local non-profit 

organization of volunteers 

dedicated to

 keeping pets and people together 

and reducing the number of

surrenders to local shelters. 

Founded in 2022, Paw Street has been helping pets in need of veterinary care and other essentials their family could not afford.

To create communities where pets and people can live together without fear of separation due to low income or homelessness, to make pet care more accessible to the underserved and reduce the number of owner surrenders to local shelters and rescues.

ADVOCACY- Breaking down barriers and stereotypes that hinder pet ownership through community outreach programs and education. 

OUTREACH- We strive to create compassionate pet support programs while also assisting the needs of caring pet owners -without judgement.

RESCUE- We believe the best kind of rescue happens in the home. We value the efforts of our volunteers, donors, community partners and sponsors and their role in keeping pets and people together.


ABOUT US

Paw Street Inc. is a beacon of hope for pet owners facing financial hardships in Vanderburgh, Posey, Warrick and Gibson counties in Southwestern Indiana.  

With a compassionate mission to maintain the cherished bond between pets and their humans, our outreach program offers a lifeline to those at risk of surrendering their beloved companions due to economic constraints. 


Our charity's comprehensive support services include financial assistance for medical care for sick and injured pets, ensuring that pets receive the care they need while alleviating the financial burden on their owners and reducing the number of surrenders to our local animal control shelters and rescues.  


Paw Street's initiative is a shining example of how compassion and action can unite a community. Through community donations from people and local businesses, Paw Street not only provides assistance for owned pets in need but also instills a spirit of generosity and care for people living in our community as well. 

Thus, our motto LOVE BOTH ENDS OF THE LEASH!

Paw Street Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Charity organization with an ALL-VOLUNTEER STAFF! Each of us work from our home office with no overhead costs.
